fishotherapy
How does everyone travel with a push pole? In the holders or in a pvc pipe tube or some other way? Got to drive 12 hrs and not sure I just want to use the holders.

Dale Nelson
I have added bungee balls to mine to lock the pole into the holder. You can see one on the rear holder
SthurmanFW
I would like to know how you got the bungee balls on there the bouncing can mark your deck if its not snug I would also recommend, as I learned the hard way, mark the tip with something bright, I saw a great idea and copied it using a pool noodle (brightest color possible) and cut off about a 1 foot section then slide onto to sharp end that sticks out past the rear of the boat. I had a 6 foot section of mine cracked off by a dude trying to park next to the back of the boat at a gas station and didn't see the pole. I should have parked somewhere else but maybe the bright noodle would have prevented the mishap.
Dale Nelson
I drilled a small hole at an angle just above the flat base where the curve starts. It is actually tightened down in the picture to keep the ball from blowing around while trailering. The tag ends are just hanging towards the center of the boat. If you want I can get a better picture in a day or two.

linesider 159
When I traveled I used zipties or bungee cords.
