Jacobparris
Anyone else's cockpit drain plugs leak? Just bought new plugs and water is still getting inside the boat. I think it may be leaking around the pvc part of the hole. Anyone else have this problem? Oh and the boat is a 2002 redfisher
linesider 159
Did you twist the ends to tighten them?

KeeKee Run
Not familiar with Redfisher but they could be leaking around the mushroom (assuming they are mushroom style drains when you said PVC). They may not have gotten any 5200 when installed or may be cracked. You may try tightening the backing nut being carefull not to crack it as the pvc style become brittle as they age. Again I'm not familiar with redfisher. I had similar problem with my MA but they were brass flared drains. I recently had some boat work done and had new larger drains installed. No leaking now
