Marshfly
My carpets are coming up at the ends on my 2016 HPX-V 18. What do I use to glue them back down.
wthree3
I've used E6000 which seems to be holding well after a year. It's a general purpose adhesive, clear, waterproof, etc. Used a couple pieces of 2x4 braced against the opposite side of the cockpit to hold the carpet flat while the glue dried. Bonecracker
I have used contact cement on multiple skiffs and it always worked out well for me when re-apply old carpet or putting in new carpet! Lay the glue out evenly on both surfaces with foam paint brush, wait 15-20 min, use good firm pressure and you are good to go!!
