wthree3
The top bracket on my Lenco actuator held by the screws pulled loose from the hull. I poked around in the three mounting holes and there seems to not be anything solid behind the outer layer; I can only feel cured 5200. I was going to drill out the holes and fill them with marinetex but if there's nothing solid in there I'll just fill them with 5200 and put the screws back in. This is a Master Angler with recessed tab actuators. And no access to the backside of the screws. Anyone know what the construction of the transom is in a this area area? Is it just the gelcoat and a thin layer of glass? Any ideas on the best way to solidly reattach the bracket? Thanks.

whichwaysup
LOL - Hurricane, I had EXACTLY the same reaction. I think we need to ban Wthree3 on account of creating unnatural stress among the other MA owners on here! Wthree3, all teasing aside, I'll take a closer look at mine and see if I can provide any help!
