FMB MEGALOPS Posted May 7, 2017 Report Share Posted May 7, 2017 I've been given the amazing opportunity to use my in-laws neighbors boat lift for the next 8 months while they're out of town. However, it sits almost directly under 3 very large Australian Pine trees that have dropped tons of needles all over my girl! Sap, sap, sap! I currently only have a center console cover and I'm looking to get something inexpensive to use that's not $300+ bucks custom made. Anybody want to sell a cover? Ideas? FROZEN Posted May 8, 2017 Report Share Posted May 8, 2017 Yeah, beautiful boat! I assume after 8 months, the boat will be back in the garage and no need for a cover. I'm having a new seawall, dock, and lift installed, so my PF is on the trailer and under some oak trees. I went to Rural King and bought a 12' x 25' plastic tarp and a pile of bungees for less than $50. I still keep my console cover on, and put the plastic over it. It doesn't keep it completely dry, and after a good wind I have to readjust it, but it keeps almost all of the leaves and bird droppings off the gel coat.
