Trd
Anyone that has installed maverick spray rails, should 5200 be applied as well as stainless screws, will 5200 adhere to spray rail itself as I've heard nothing will adhere to starboard, any suggestions much appreciated! Wanaflatsfish
The 5200 should be applied so you can seal the screw holes...yes, it will not adhere to the Starboard; however, it will seal to prevent future intrusion. dc

Moderator
Weather Forecasters name each Tropical Disturbance or Depression in the order of their appearance. The first storm of every Summer is TD-1 Always brings a shiver to those of us near the coastline.

smilemaker
You are trying to seal the screws. Too many people want to use 5200 but it sets up on the hard side and is not the best choice for sealing. Look at a high grade silicone or 4200. If you want to help bond then use a router to run a dovetatail in the rail and use 5200 to fill the dovetail for mechanical retention to the boat.
