Convertible13
I'm having a real problem figuring out the following: 1. How does this Rule pump disconnect to be replaced? Does it screw out from the bottom? My other 2 pumps have clips for easy removal of the pump motor but this one doesn't. 2. How do I get the glass raw water strainer off? Is that a plastic nut that should unscrew at the bottom of the glass? I tried putting a wrench on it but it wouldn't budge. Thanks for the help! Convertible13
PS. As you can see, you can eat off my bilge. Lol. Would it hurt to pressure wash it?
JEM
The glass strainer unscrews from its base. Good luck, it looks in pretty bad shape.

You should upgrade to the newer tournament grade rule pump. I don't think the pump you have is still available. It is old. The strainer housing is just a matter of grabbing the clear bowl and unscrewing it.

JEM
If that strainer is in bad shape or won't clean up, you can buy a new one on the Pathfinder store for a little over $20. Might be money well spent.
