FunFlatsFishing
Does anyone else's Pathfider take forever to fill while on the trailer? I can fill my tank much faster while the boat is in the water. Must be the angle the boat sits at. While on the tailer, if I squeeze the fuel pump handle more than halfway, it will shoot back out. Any tips? Clogged vent?
Bamaskeet
I suspect you have a vent problem. Both my Pathfinders fill as quickly as the pump will deliver fuel. I have heard of some new boats having this issue because of a carbon canister in the vent line, thank you EPA.
Sunstone
The last 8 gallons on my 2015 23 hps will take forever. You have to barely squeeze the nozzle and it takes 10 minutes at least to get the last 8 gal. I just treat it now as if I only have a 53 gas tank. Epa mandated carbon filter so no vapors enter the atmosphere. But now the tanks purp gas and spills at the marina and gas station. EPA created more of a problem with more spills not just vapors. Mellow Yellow 1806V
Rock your boat on the trailer while pumping. My 1806 is a pain to fill on a trailer. Spills out of the vent all the time.
