WildBlueUnder
Well I did some searches and there is no shortage of discussion but I'd like to know specifics about replacing the round black splashwell hatch with the rectangular, removable hatch. I know how to do it (from reading discussions) but I need to know: Which size for my 2001 2200v? Where to buy it? I read on one post from 2015 that TH Marine no longer sells or makes them. Thank you! Bamaskeet
You are correct TH Marine no longer makes that hatch. I suggest you go on eBay and find a watertight hatch that fits the splash well. I think the original hatch was 13"X17". Measure your splash well and go shopping. i have installed two splash well hatches and it's a easy job. I suggest you buy a hatch with a removable lid. JEM
You might try calling Mike at Master Repair in Stuart, FL. At one time, he had a supply of the T-H hatches. He installed mine. He might have one left.....who knows.
CG RYAN
http://www.ebay.com/itm/BOAT-ACCESS-PANEL-12-X-16-POLAR-WHITE-INNOVATIVE-PRODUCT-SOLUTIONS-520-605-/152397950017?hash=item237ba02c41 I used this hatch on my 2005 2200. It is the biggest you can go and really opens up the area. I highly recommend it
WildBlueUnder
Thanks for your input guys! My boat is in Plant City getting a new axle installed on the trailer but when I get it back I'll measure it and buy a hatch.
HewesYourDaddy
I like that idea a lot! Anyone know if they make a hatch like that to fit the 1900?
