RacerxV6
So I was going to pick up dinner the other night and on my way I noticed a little traffic jam...as I approached I noticed an empty trailer and a late 80's early 90's bass boat sitting in front of the trailer it was riding on. I continued on my way as there was nothing i could do for him. On my way back he was still there and so was the tow truck and his wife. As I went by I yelled, "I feel your pain" he smiled and then I snapped the following picture.

RacerxV6
You have no idea! The front of that boat is sitting against a 36 inch cement culvert pipe. After they moved he boat the pipe was not even scratched. I never got to see the front...
Sunstone
Had a friend years ago pick up a new ranger and on his way home hit a dip in the road and his new boat passed him on the right. It hit a culvert just like the one in the pic. The kid at the shop hooked the boat up and never latched or chained it.
RacerxV6
yep, I think that is what happened here. Looks like he didn't lock the tongue and hit a bump and away she went.
HewesYourDaddy
I ALMOST did that myself one time. Got about 200yrds down the road and knew I was forgetting something. Hopped out and looked and found I left it unlatched.
JEM
That is easy to do when you get in a hurry. I have done the same thing and just got lucky with enough tongue weight that it didn't pop off. I always try to remember to take a second look just to be sure.
