HoneyB
I have a 2200 trs, 10 inches of setback with 200 Yamaha SHO. I found I can not run it all the way up because it runs hot. I was just wondering how high others comfortably run there motors across the flats
fishmanjj
Do you have a low water pick-up on motor ?
HoneyB
I have the factory set up but the pick up seems to be low and forward on the foot yes
craSSh
I watch my water pressure gauge and make sure I have ample pressure. That being said I have not paid attention to pressure in relation to height, just the fact that the higher up the motor the less water pressure. I only jack it way up if I need to. HoneyB
thanks for the reply.. I do not have a pressure gauge. i guess i should think on that. when i posted i was down in fl. running across some shallow water. It seems to do well at 5 inches up so i suppose that is a learning. Thanks again
