A Bonefisher Trip with Water added

While my boat was in the shop I managed to score a trip with good friends Mark and Greggy for a day throwing some lures up the Hinchinbrook channel on Mark's Bonefisher 16.

This time of year is a bit hit and miss and we had a good day despite being hit with one of the biggest rain squalls I can remember. It was intense heavy rain for about 1 hour and there was nowhere to hide. Funny thing was we had no raincoats but within half and hour later you were dry. This roar could be heard in the distance which was actually the waterfalls of the creeks that feed into the channel from the island side.

We caught some barras and other species as we tried some different lures and scoped some new spots but all up it was a good day in between the rain and with a up coming tournament here a worthwhile scouting mission.
