JAYBIRD Posted July 26, 2017 Report Share Posted July 26, 2017 I was out fishing this past weekend and the power pole was working great, Then all of a sudden it would not come up. The motor engages going down but nothing for coming up. Tried console switch and both remotes, would not even ingage the pump. Had to man handle it up by hand. Any ideas or has anyone else experienced this problem.. I have an older pole but was totally rebuilt about 5 years ago with new wiring, hydrolics, and pump. Pump works fine on down side. HewesYourDaddy Posted July 26, 2017 Report Share Posted July 26, 2017 It's the control head probably. I had mine for only about a month and mine did the same. Called PP and they had one overnighted to me. Replaced and everything worked great from then on. Just be sure to return the bad one and get a tracking number and delivery confirmation number. JAYBIRD Posted July 26, 2017 Author Report Share Posted July 26, 2017 I called Power Pole customer service and they think it's the reversing relay, and told me how to jump the motor by bypassing the relay. If that works then it just a bad relay. I will try it this weekend.. Thanks for the imput from everyone. This forum is a great asset for all of us!!!
