You'll be just as happy in crystal river with an early model 22. tunnel reduces your speed and increases draft at rest a bit. I can attest to the fact that a tunnel hull on the Pathfinder reduces speed, but I actually think I'm floating pretty shallow for a 19' boat with a 130hp hanging off the back. I have no clue about how a 22 tunnel floats. How shallow? The 1900 hull itself is waaay underrated in this aspect. Mine floated every bit at skinny if not less than my 16' hewes. I kept checking on it as the tide was going out. Where I normally was having to push the Hewes into deeper water, the 1900 was floating without an issue.
