Capt. Troy
Put this in general as the effects on the gulf coast 400 plus miles from this storm bring it home. The energy propagated by this system is mind blowing. Winds were at the time east at less than 2 MPH This is 3 Rooker bar on the west/ gulf side this morning at around 11:00 am
SCFD rtrd.
So, I suppose under normal circumstances this area should be smooth as glass with a 2 mph east wind???

What does Stump Pass look like on a east wind at 2 MPH with an out going tide? Smooth I can tell you what for sure. Scary energy blown back against this coast from Harvey. It may be worst conditions I have ever seen given the conditions at hand. This is a shoreline not an inlet. Surf was up dude.
