Can't find the chase. Is there a secret location? I found the chase from battery to CC but need to run new bow wire for lights. mulligan Posted September 7, 2017 Report Share Posted September 7, 2017 I am not sure if there is a case or not, I had a 97 hewes and don't recall one. If it has not been used or lost there should be a pull string in the front hatch. If the string is not there you can always use fish tape and go from the console to the bow, not that hard if you have the touch. The easy way would be just to cut and use the wires from the nav lights to pull a couple strings to the console. Make sure to pull an extra to have for next time. smilemaker Posted September 13, 2017 Report Share Posted September 13, 2017 Not as easy as it sounds using old wires as often they are tied down or foamed over when the cap was off. A straight shot will be mostly luck. I have always found going from console to the outside and then forward works the best. A metal electricians fish tape will work.
