Dale Nelson
Has anyone ran premixed fuel in their normal 4 stroke generator? I keep thinking of trying this in the ( non hurricane season) to see how it runs. I'm sure over a period of time you would need to clean or replace the spark plug. I try looking at my boat with a 30 gallon tank of pre mixed fuel as another source of fuel during the hurricanes.

HewesYourDaddy
I premix the fuel that goes into my everyday driver Jeep with 1oz to every 5gal. That's an approx 1:500 mix. Actually runs better. At 1:50, it may smoke a little, but should work in emergency situations
Drummer
It'll run, just a little bit a smoke.
