Stonehenge
Those that have a transom mount transducer, How are you all running the wiring? Through the transom with a clam shell cover, up and over the transom, through the drain hole by the engine? I have a 1900V and plan on installing my SimRad Go7 with totalscan transducer. It's ordered and in the mail, looking to install sometime next week. Any input or advice is appreciated.
mulligan
I went through the transom and covered the cables. I don't have a splash well so no other choice for me.
Grant
I just ran mine through the splashwell drain as you described, and then through the wiring/fuel line boot. Used two small wire clamps to secure the wire to the transom.

Stonehenge
Ended up running through the splash drain well and then through the wiring/fuel line boot like grant mentioned. Install turned out great. I am getting some spray that's hitting the motor. As long as this doesn't do damage to the motor it doesn't bother me. It's a little but is getting up towards the intake on the cowling. Something to be concerned with?
