RacerxV6
Not Mine, found on Boattrader.com in Georgetown, CT. Looks like a real good buy. Work would need to be done on the bottom though. Has bottom paint on it. http://www.boattrader.com/listing/1998-maverick-17-master-angler-103189604/
FMB MEGALOPS
For sure good buy. Sand & repaint bottom and all good for under $10K.....Maybe! Looks like it permanently sits in saltwater. I like it though.
whichwaysup
Dang, that may be a decent deal. Not a steal, but if that engine has more life in it, it would be a great entry point into the MA family. One of those rare situations where you plug your nose and just put up with the bottom paint and enjoy the boat for a few years, then decide whether to address it or sell it and upgrade later. 8500 asking puts you in a decent zip code for negotiations. fsusteve
People make way too big of a deal out of bottom paint, I've had a few boats with it, it's not impossible to remove and it's useful if you leave the boat in the water for a few weeks n the keys like I have
