Buzzarde
Greetings fellow PF owners I am finally selling my 2005 22' trs and looking at upping the game to a 24' trs. My concern is, I do a lot of skinny fishing (14"to15" depth) which my old 22' does just fine! Now Im looking at the new 24trs. The website shows the current 22' min draft as 11" as was my 2005 boat. The min depth for the 24' trs shows as being 12". Can any folks who have switched from a 22' to a 24' give me some info on the true min depth? I can live with a little bit deeper draft but not much! Thanks in advance for the feedback! Buzz
justdriftin
Not exactly the same , but I went from an 18ft. Hewes to a 24 (2008 TE) and hardly noticed any difference in how skinny I can get. I was very surprised that I really can go anywhere I could with the Hewes. slyshon
The 24 will draw a bit more than the 22, no doubt, bigger/ heavier boat. Fully loaded you are looking at maybe 2" more on the 24, 12" vs. 14" on the 2 boats. Skip
Buzzarde
OK Thanks Good to hear. I tend to run light anyway. My best spots are less then 5 miles from the dock.
