dcathey
Anybody got a link or source for the 1/2”- 3/4” plastic trim piece at the bottom of console on 06 PF? Mine is pretty yellow and could stand to be replaced while I’m doing everything else . Thanks in advance
dcathey
That yellow piece of trim is what I was referring to. Anyone ever swapped theirs out? I’ve given up on trying to get it restored. I’ve put everything on it that I know of
HarleyG8r
I'd also be interested in doing mine. This is only a guess, but since MHP uses Taco rub rails, maybe they get this trim from them as well? Does the measurement of any of these match up to what's on your boat? http://tacomarine.com/category/cat_rigid_vinyl_moulding/Rigid-Vinyl-Moulding
dcathey
I’ll measure exact tomorrow. With that lip I wonder how hard it would be to turn the corners. You’d prob have to heat it
dcathey
I ended up wet sanding it this afternoon. Looks almost perfect. I’ll get a pic tomorrow but it only took about 30 minutes. Replacing would’ve been a tough job
RacerxV6
I was about to say that, that the console most likely sits in that almost like a seal...would have to remove console? my guess...
Bloch776
Can you post a pic if you have one? Need to do the same. Also wondering how you resealed it
dcathey
Here are a couple, all I ever did was wet sand and wipe Woody wax on it. I also changed out the bolts. So far it’s been fine but I think storing inside is what helps mine stay white
