rubble
I installed a pump and hose on my Pathy 4 years ago and my hose has already pitted and has pin holes. I bet that thing hasn't had 10 gallons pumped thru it. I think I got the $30 version from Bass Pro. Is there a better option that will last? Didn't want to break the bank but also don't want to replace frequently when not using much.
Bamaskeet
Stay away from Bass Pro Shop marine stuff. It's all Chinese.
SCFD rtrd.
You can get a 25 ft. hose made by "Zero". They resemble the crappy hoses that stretch and shrink, but this one does not stretch or shrink. Very pliable, will not kink and can be easily crammed into very little space. Have one on by wash-down and several around the house.
RodWorks
There are good quality coil type hoses out there. I have no idea what brand mine it but it's been sitting in my splash well for at least 10 years.
