surveyingdawg
Any thoughts? I've run across a deal on a hull that needs power? No SHOs until end of year is what dealers are telling me. The couple I can find are $20,900. I can install a Suzuki for less than that. Never have seen one on a Pathfinder. Just looking for some experience if there is any. HoneyB
I don’t know the weight but I would be thinking verado over zuke. I have a 200 sho on my 2200 trs. I run 52 mph with a t top. I can’t imagine what it would be like with 300 ponies back there.
HarleyG8r
What shaft length does the TRS take? 300 Zuke only comes in 25” or 30”. They do make a 250 in a 20”.
bsh102
The TRS is a 25”transom. Put the Suzuki 300 on and have a fantastic performing PF.
bernieNC
First thought. Boat is rated for a 250.
surveyingdawg
Local dealer is telling me the 300 is now available in a 20 Weight is 70lbs more than a 250 SHO My TRS has a 250 with computer upgrade. Supposed to be over 300. Performance is unreal. HP ratings are merely suggestions. Thanks for the replies. I'm waiting on dealer to get me a quote. Really would rather put a Yamaha back because rigging is ready. They are scarce though.
JEM
I am not sure if you bought a new TRS, popped a 300 on it, then experienced stringer failure during the warranty period, that MBG would look at HP ratings as merely a suggestion. Maybe, but maybe not!?!?
fin-addict
would stay within the hp rating and go zuke. good engines
