plainsman5
It seems that my MinnKota finally gave up the ghost after 14yrs. I’m considering getting a Motorguide Xi5 to replace. The question I have is I’m not certain if it should be the 54inch or 60” shaft? How do I measure my existing minnkota shaft? And is there a difference in how shafts are measured between the 2 companies? its for my 2200v pathfinder thank you for any help! Jason
ASB
60” for sure. I have a Pathfinder and wish I had a 70” at times
RockyG
Your Minn Kota lasted 14 years and you are going to switch brands? Get the 60".

J.N
Make sure you have a 3 blade prop because my xi5 is a dog with the factory 2 blade.
FINCHASER
60" as already stated however if you will be using offshore chop / swell consider 72" they just made that option available recently (36v only)
