SCFD rtrd.
Bought a new condo with a boat lift. The bunks on the boat lift are designed for a conventicle hull and not a stepped hull. I want to add height to the rear (last 7 ft. of the bunks) to accommodate the offset in the step. I can't really get a good measurement of the height of the step when the boat is on the lift. Can anyone with a 23 HPS measure the height of the step. I think it's somewhere around 1 1/4" to 1 1/2" but want to be as accurate as possible. Thanks in advance. SCFD rtrd.
Need the measurement in the area of the stringers, about 24" out from the keel.
SCFD rtrd.
Big thanks to Ray at the factory. The step is 1 1/4".
SCFD rtrd.
After determining the height of the step, I ripped down some composite wood (2x6) to 1 1/4" high and 7' long. Attached the wood to the aluminum bunks and reinstalled the vinyl bunk covers. My boat is now fully supported by the bunks.
