Westhall55
Just wondering if you guys had any advice on what size and pitch to run on a 2001 22’ Pathfinder with a 2004 HPDI 250? I’ve been reading and a lot of people are saying the 21 pitch but don’t have thousands of dollars to experiment so want to get it close. Thanks guys
imsnookyrd
I run a Yamaha 21M on my 2001 2200 with 200 HPDI so I would say you need to with a higher pitch.
Coto
I had a 2006 2200 with a Yamaha 200 VMAX HPDI 3.3 liter and ran an OFX 21. It topped out at 57 mph. Being that you got the 250 you could probably go with the 23 pitch without any problem. Also you can check online for the Yamaha performance bulletin for that boat and motor and see what they got with their testing. You can also contact Marcus at Powertech Props ptprop.com and he will guide you in the right direction.
Tarpon1215
I ran a Yamaha 21m on mine since it came with the boat, changed to Power Tech ofx4r19 and bingo that prop was the ticket. I would suggest an ofx4r21 but to be sure contact Funky Monkey on this site. He is the Pathfinder prop god! Or you can call him at Power Tech in Shreveport, La.
