blackacre Posted August 31, 2018 Report Posted August 31, 2018 Had a project done that I've been meaning to get around to ever since I bought my boat. Over the years wiring in the console had turned into quite a mess. I didn't think my 2004 Pathfinder needed a full rewire job. I was was able to work with St. Marks Pro Marine in St. Marks, FL to get everything squared away. It will be much easier to track down future issues with neat and labeled wiring. Here's some before and after pics.
FROZEN Posted August 31, 2018 Report Posted August 31, 2018 Wow, what a difference! Nice job. May I ask what they charged?

I'm sure costs vary greatly on a job like this based on the condition of your wiring and what is involved. I had a livewell pump replaced, the float switch on the bilge repaired and a trolling motor issue looked at as well. I was able to text them pictures on my wiring prior to bringing it in and get a rough estimate. I would suggest doing the same if you can.
Dale Nelson Posted August 31, 2018 Report Posted August 31, 2018 Where are they getting the white labels from that slide over the wires, I have seen this on many wiring jobs ?
FINCHASER Posted August 31, 2018 Report Posted August 31, 2018 Dale not sure if its what is used there but you can buy white write on heat shrink. Blackacre- looks great

I just rewired my Pathfinder and used a $20 P-touch label maker and used clear heat shrink tubing from Amazon over it. It came out excellent. I almost bought the expensive machine that prints directly on heat shrink tubing but I’m very happy with this method.

Miss Jazzy Posted September 3, 2018 Report Posted September 3, 2018 Looks good! Pro Marine done mine as well back in April. Mine was in worst shape than yours but he did a good job getting it all put back like it should. Like you I had him replace bilge pump and a few other things. He's new but I think he'll make it. Good guy too. Oh and he also runs a MGB product for his guide service.
