clink
It looks like our annual Tarpon trip to the lowcountry of SC will be interrupted next week by Florence. We are considering other places to try in South Georgia or Northern Florida/Panhandle. Live bait, Fly or throwing Artificials we don't mind and have a flats boat or bay boat to use. Any suggestions for somewhere we can get some shots at fish and getaway from the real world for a few days late next week?

jensenjeff
Hard to beat central to south Florida during the mullet run for Snook, Tarpon, Kingfish, and Blacktip sharks this time of the year to mid October. . If you can throw a cast net, it's a no-brainer. If you have a boat, just pick any spot close to the inlets or fish the inlet jetties like Sebastian Inlet, Ft. Pierce or Jupiter from land. There will be plenty of non stop action.
johnd
Mullet run just starting in East Central Fl. Tarpon been scattered, but already some solid days nearshore. Snook bite has been on fire. The “however” is this storm, while hopefully well north of us (folks in NC please prepare) gonna blow up the waves.
