DerekS MA18.5
Hi to all, I am new to the forum and doing a full refurb on a 2003 Mav 18 master angler. I am looking for Fighting lady yellow gel in pint size or smaller quantities. Spectrum can sell me a gallon but I only need a spoonful, lot of $ for something I don't need. Thoughts please? MuddyBottomBluz
Derek, I would like you to meet Whichwaysup.............. You are not alone in your search, maybe go 50/50 on a gallon?😀

MuddyBottomBluz
Keep us posted, the forum loves the refurb stuff, many have been through it themselves. Good luck.
DerekS MA18.5
Will do. Just found out I can't fly with Gel Coat so will have to find a source in Canada and it won't be factory colour sadly. Will have to colour match my own. Will need lots of friendly help. whichwaysup
Derek, if you decide to go down this route, let me know. I need some as well. If we can find 2 others, it might almost be affordable for 4 quarts vs the 6-700 per gallon!
wthree3
Spectrum has 2 oz patch paste in fighting lady yellow. Or try Minicraft of Florida. They sell quarts and can match all Maverick colors. However, know that your hull has faded, probably more than you think. The new gel coat will be the original spec color and likely will not be a match to the surrounding area.
DerekS MA18.5
Thanks wthree3! When I spoke to spectrum they certainly never told me that. Surely all I would need in the yellow.

Surely all I would need in the yellow. I called them after I read this, but they said they didn't have any at all. The reason they want $600 for a gallon is that they don't have any mixed at all. Derek, if you can find it anywhere, will you let me know?
wthree3
Search "spectrum fighting" on iboats.com Gallons are cheaper, about 260. Unfortunately I don't see the patch kit in that particular color. Suggest calling Minicraft.
