Vapor Trail
There was a dealer problem with my new build and the Airmar transducer didn't get installed on my 2600 TRS. Is it possible to put one in now in front of the front step and does anyone have a picture or location of where that should be? I'm worried because when you open all the hatches you can't see any of the inner fiberglass.
jason p
Id call the factory and ask them where they install them.
bernieNC
If it was a "dealer problem" I would ask them what they are going to do to fix the problem.
jason p
That was my first thought as well but I wasn’t gonna go there.
Vapor Trail
I think it's all straightened out. Seems they sell a lot of high end boats and this is nothing new to them but I'm skeptical by nature, been burned too many times. They said it's done so we shall see Saturday! SCFD rtrd.
Try to access the fuel tank. Sometimes they have a hole in the gas tank that is big enough to work through. That is how the thru-hull transducers are installed on the 23 hps. If it has a hole in the gas tank, make sure it is in front of the step. I guess we were typing at the same time. Easy solution is to look under the boat. If it's there, won't be hard to see.
