Rik Posted March 14, 2019 Report Share Posted March 14, 2019 I have a leak somewhere in the gas tank of my 1985 Maverick 18. It's a small leak that doesn't fill the bilge but it sure does create a gas stink. I'm wondering if anyone here has pulled one and can give me some pointers. I've seen pics of Par8Head's 85 Maverick in the "Aluminum gas tanks" thread but that boat has the larger tank. Where his almost fills the forward compartment, mine is completely under the aft end of the forward deck. I'm hoping the tank will just conveniently come out the hatch but I have my doubts.
