Paid Up
This maybe a dumb question but my boat is 7 hours away and just trying to get some knowledge. A local guy replaces my starting battery and now says my fuel gauge is blinking empty when I know it’s got a full tank. Is their a positive and negative from the sending unit to the batteries or does it connect to the fuse block? The fact it’s blinking empty make me think I have a bad ground. Any tips on this as to where to start looking?
SCFD rtrd.
I've been off the grid for a while and just saw your post. Did you figure out the problem?
smooth move
take the sending unit wires off and clean them. may even find a wire corroded in two.
