DAME TU LONCHE
Hope everyone enjoyed this weekend and got out on the water. Was wondering if anyone one here has had experience swapping out the livewell pump on the 2200v. My dad mentioned that the cables to the pump appeared to be hot and he said that it more thank likely is a bad pump. Any tips/recommendations on replacement? Thanks, Randy
Bamaskeet
I think Pathfinder used Deutsch connectors on Rule bait pumps on the older boats. You can find both the connectors and bait pump cartridges on eBay. Rule updated their bait pumps a few years ago, so make sure you buy the right cartridge. I always carry a extra cartridge wired with a Deutsch connector because you never know when they will fail and it only takes a few minutes to change them out. Bamaskeet
It seems like baitwell pumps are not always reliable. It doesn’t seem like any particular brand is far ahead of the others. I use Rule pumps and always have a spare cartridge on board with a Duetsch connector so I can rapidly change a bad pump without losing any bait.
