whichwaysup
Man, it has hit me hard this past week. Miss my boat, jonesing to be out on it chasing fish. Every boat I see on the road headed to or from a ramp kills me. Anyone else jonesing to be out there fishing right now??
Shallowminded6
Im right there with you. Had a baby and rebuilt our house. Mine sat for the last year or so. Finally getting her back to water ready, ran new wire for trim tabs today and did the motor service. Cant wait to run it and bend a rod.
Nag Juice
I might have contributed to this. 😂😂😂
HoneyB
Go in your house. start scraping the ceilings to finish smooth.. rip out the flooring.. paint every wall and celling put up crown molding where there was none. Take down every fixture that has gold tone accents...........Trust me as bad as the jonesing gets............. you will have other things more pressing. But I am one week away from a week in dead man's bay.. so I am about to get my fix
justfish
👆🏼Lots of truth there Fortunately I’m on the backside now...After 3 major renovations and a promotion test in last 3 years, I hadn’t really thought much about it. Now that it’s all behind me, it’s all I’m thinking about.
whichwaysup
HoneyB, good advice. Unfortunately, I am running out of distractions. Fixing a couple surfboards today and hoping the waves are big enough tomorrow that I cant see the boats congregated on the reefs off the beach. Shallowminded, its a bad feeling to see a good boat sit idle, at least I dont have that problem. Glad yours is getting ready for use again! Nagjuice, yes, dang you. My only consolation is that I know you to be similarly infected . . .
conocean
I start jonesing when I pull into my driveway after fishing 5 days straight! I’m rarely off the water more than 10 days at a time. The biggest contributors to this good fortune is: 1) no wife. 2) son is now 16 & can largely fend for himself. 3) I work for amazing people. 4) YOLO!!! conocean
My buddy in Choko has the HB Guide. He always wants to take my 18HPX when we aren’t strictly sightfishing. Just saying!

SSN651
If all goes well this next week, I'll be splashing the boat for the first time this next weekend. Chuck 😀
