pbspecial
I have a 2020 2500 Hybrid on order with an F300, Weblon T-op, and will be putting a 36V Minn Kota trolling motor on it. I fish out of the Stuart area mainly and probably 70% off or near shore. I need to figure out which prop I should have the boat delivered with. Any suggestion? Anyone have some good numbers on a similar setup? Any info would be appreciated.
HoneyB
I do not own a stepped hull boat but I love tempest plus and Bravo1FS for lift and speed
BradM
I do have a stepped hull, but a 23 HPS. My boat loves the Bravo FS series from Mercury.
finbully
I also have a 2500 (2019) and discussed a 4 blade prop with Steven at Power Tech. He is recommending an OFX4R19PCL 200 for my rig that has the 300 Yamaha. I'm going to talk to him a bit more but Power Tech has been spot on for me in the past for prop recommendations. pbspecial
Let me know what you find out. Just took delivery on Friday, but with this storm, have not even had it in the water yet. Dealer installed a SWS 15 3/4 x 19P 3 blade. Heard it works good everywhere, just no t a blistering hole shot or big top end. Kind of what im looking for in an all around performer, but would love to see what you get with a 4 blade. finbully
I ordered the PowerTech OFX4R19PCL200 today. I'll be checking it out in the Keys in a couple of weeks and report back. My 2500 came with an OFS3R20PCL200, which is okay but I'm going for a better hole shot with the 300 Yamaha.
