Lap it Up
Like Troy said... "Lots of stuff on boats break". I have a sea of Garmins screwed to my boathouse rafters as decoration. Not one time did they send me a single part to fix any of them. Can power Poles break?? Of course they do, but they stand by them and fix them almost without question. They will even upgrade their ancient Bennett systems at a fraction of the cost. Try that with Minnkota, MotorGuide, Garmin, Lowrance and the rest. Definitely curious to see the new Minnkota up close. Healthy competition is good for the industry.
bsh102
It’s a PowerPole with MK electronics. The patent expired on PP and MK jumped on it. That being said, their electronics is what screws everything up.The pressure switches this thing has will be the first things to take a crap.
Sunstone
Five years on my power pole no problems. Now I did have it deploy just outside Miami going down the turn pike without it stopping me. 😳 The remote was in the leaning post with a pair of pliers on top of it. Two days I had a new spike no charge.
