Popular Post ShallowPath Posted January 21, 2017 Popular Post Report Posted January 21, 2017 This is a one of a kind Maverick Master Angler. I will let the pictures do the talking on this post. Let me start off by giving everyone a little background on this boat. Shortly after buying my first MBC product 10 years ago I fell in love with the MA 21. I have owned 6 MBC boats (3 Pathfinders, 2 Hewes, and this MA). This has, by far, been my favorite and there is no doubt in my mind why this hull is so popular amongst the MBC community. I purchased this boat about 2 years ago and took it directly to the rebuild shop. All of the work was performed by one of the country's premier yacht builders. They have asked that I not share their name because this was a one-off deal and they will never refit a boat of this size again. If someone is a serious buyer I will then share that information. The vessel spent more than a year in the shop undergoing this refit. As you can tell from the pictures this boat looks brand new. There was no expense spared to make this boat the way I wanted it. The hull is a 1999 but now shines better than it did new. The motor is a 2006 Yamaha 225 and has about 650 hours on it. Everything was replaced on this boat at the time of refit. The factory polling platform was redesigned and totally replaced by my friends at Quality T Tops in Tarpon Springs, Florida. The boat was completely re-wired and is truly bullet proof now. As the pictures show the refit shop customized the console to allow a flush mounted GPS that also doubles as the gauges. After enjoying this boat for the last 8 months it is now time to move on to my next project. My family has outgrown bay boats and we are moving up to a 36 foot center console (Jupiter). This could quite possibly be the biggest mistake of my life but as you all know we all have a boat that we sell and then regret for the rest of our natural existence; this will be mine. I labored over every single detail of this boat, I have spent more money on this vessel than I will ever admit on a public forum. Below is a list of what was replaced new at the time of refit. - Every wire and switch, including the panel - Raymarine 7 inch touch screen Hybrid touch GPS and Transducer - Power pole with remote, 8 foot -Yamaha binnacle and cables -Polling platform (Quality T Tops) - Rub rail and insert -Two Optima Blue tops -Blue sea circuit breaker and battery switch - All connections high and dry in custom box inside console -Clarion head unit with usb port and JL marine speakers -Yamaha engine and key wiring harness -LED naviagation and anchor lights -Bilge pump -All hatches and lids were sprayed by LineX of Sarasota to match non skid - A truly bullet proof coating -Minn Kota RT 80/ST/ I Pilot with remote (never installed, brand new) -Dual Pro - Sportsman Series - Tri Pro three bank charger -Custom Sunbrella console cover I have decided to price this boat at $29k to forum members. If anyone has ever had a refit like this done before you know how quickly the expenses can add up. At that price I will be losing a significant amount of money on this project. This boat is currently on my lift in Anna Maria Island and can be wet tested at any time. You would have to get MBC to build you a new one to find a nicer MA21. I will be listing the boat here first. 5 Quote
JEM Posted January 21, 2017 Report Posted January 21, 2017 Wow! Let me be the first to say this one won't last long! Maybe I need a backup, spare boat! You might want to indicate what size Yamaha you have. The only upgrade needed, that I see, is some new stern tie downs. LOL. GLWS Quote
Neptune58 Posted January 21, 2017 Report Posted January 21, 2017 Original fuel tank, gel coat interior exterior, transom? Quote
CG RYAN Posted January 22, 2017 Report Posted January 22, 2017 I have never seen better aluminum work than quality t-tops. That platform is sweet. Quote

Big Dave Posted January 22, 2017 Report Posted January 22, 2017 She's a beauty--can't believe you want to sell her. Quote
whichwaysup Posted January 22, 2017 Report Posted January 22, 2017 Is that hull two tone, or all black? Any pics of the front? Man, what a beautiful rig. Quote
hurricane Posted January 22, 2017 Report Posted January 22, 2017 What a great boat! And I would totally buy this boat today, if only the grab handles were black. But there not so I can't.......kidding, love it. That is totally what I have in my mind for my platform, have been wanting to get it done. The front legs of mine are way too long, I bet yours where the same. Any idea what the cost was for the platform work? Quote
justfish Posted January 23, 2017 Report Posted January 23, 2017 Wow. This boat is insane. What a stud. Quote
StayFloating Posted January 23, 2017 Report Posted January 23, 2017 Nice build..... you have my attention. Quote
StayFloating Posted January 24, 2017 Report Posted January 24, 2017 This boat is 40k now just so everyone interested is aware! She sure is puuuurrrdddyyy... Quote
ShallowPath Posted January 24, 2017 Author Report Posted January 24, 2017 Not sure what you mean Stayfloating. The price has not changed. I have had 5 -6 calls and emails on the boat. Someone is going to get a really special boat. I went and checked on the new boat yesterday and hope to take delivery the first week of February. Now don't get me wrong, I would take 40k and that is a hell of a lot closer to what I have in this rebuild. Quote
conocean Posted January 24, 2017 Report Posted January 24, 2017 Wow, I'd buy this boat today if I had time to use two boats! Awesome refit!! GLWS Quote
Shallowminded6 Posted January 24, 2017 Report Posted January 24, 2017 What did you make the inside box in the console out of? That boat is sick! Quote
