fishmanjj
I had a couple hours of free time this morning, so I decided to poke around a few spots on incoming water shortly after daylight....started off with a Zara Spook and it was " game on" for about 30 minutes......caught 5 on top water....the biggest being 18".. Chunked the screwtail for about 30 minutes after that, catching two more keepers and a few shorts and came on back home....as the tide started flowing harder the water got very dirty. It's not a big catch for most of you , but after all the hurricane stuff and tons of debris in the water....I can go have a few beers , clean the boat and the fish with a smile. JEM
Pretty trout! Amazing how the water looks like chocolate milk, but the fish, at least the reds, still bite on shrimp. I think it is going to be a good fall and winter for catching! Took a friend of mine and his son for a couple of hours late this afternoon. Kept 9 reds, 1 trout, and 1 nice flounder......all in chocolate milk.
